My C-lium Lose More, Live More journey starts now

Ever since I gave birth (that’s one-and-half years ago), I never came back to my pre-pregnancy weight. And to make it worse, it seems that my weight is going anything but up. I always make this an excuse, “I’m a mommy and I need to eat to keep up with the demands of my toddler”.

Jeff already pointed out this to me, “We need to start living healthier so that we can live longer to witness and enjoy the growing up years of our daughter.”

We tried starting a healthy lifestyle by running and eating more healthy food. Unfortunately, the accessibility of fastfood and being lazy got us back into junk-food-eating-couch-potatoes.

Last month, I was invited to be part of the Bloggers’ Edition of C-lium Lose More, Live More program. Selected bloggers are challenged on a one-month weight loss and special prizes will be given to those with the biggest drop in BMI, bad cholesterol levels, and blood sugar levels. I’m really not after the prizes but I joined because I think I really need this as motivation for me to start on a healthy lifestyle again.

I am never really successful in dieting, the ones that requires me to starve myself to death. I’m a voracious eater, I love food and I can’t live without eating all those delicious and sinful food. But I still managed not to overeat, and I hope I can go back to running or do more active things like hiking soon. In the meantime, despite of binging on some unhealthy food I still try to eat something healthy for my body.

Slim9 weight loss pill

It’s bikini season once again and it’s time to shape up and get fit to show off those slim bodies to the beach. People have plenty of ways on how to get back in shape, dieting, running, going to the gym, drinking slimming coffee or slimming teas or taking diet pills. It seems that more and more weight loss and diet pills are popping up these days. Aside from slimming coffee, most of us are already familiar with weight loss pills because it is more common and can be bought over the counter. Be warned though, because most of weight loss pills I know can make you go to the comfort room every hour or so. They contain laxatives and other artificial ingredients, that’s why.

A friend of mine swears by this one weight loss pill she got from New York called Slim9. It’s an all-natural diet pill so it’s basically safe, and promises to give results in as fast as 2 weeks. It’s all-natural because it uses quality herbal extracts, some of these are acai berry, green tea and ginseng. So what are the effects after taking this pill? My friend said that it reduced her food cravings thereby reducing her calorie intake. It also boosts her metabolism that’s why it’s good for the digestive health, some slimming drinks can make you constipated. And because of the added ingredients like antioxidants, it also gives extra energy and reduces stress. I told her that it’s too good to be true, to have a weight loss pill that can do all that. But she swears that it’s very effective, and she has peace of mind that it won’t have negative impact on her body since it’s natural. Weight loss experienced by taking Slim9 can even be called “healthy weight loss.”

Authentic vs. fake Leisure 18 Slimming Coffee

How to know if a Leisure 18 Slimming Coffee is authentic or a fake? I’ve seen many sellers claim that what they sell are authentic. This really raised confusion from Leisure 18 coffee users because there are a number of colors of sachets that’s been produced, white, green, purple… But from the start of drinking this coffee, I’ve only known one variant, and that’s the GOLD sachet. My supplier has been consistent with this one, that’s why I don’t want to gamble on other “colored variants”.

Here’s what my supplier has to say on Leisure 18 Slimming Coffee’s authenticity:

How to Determine Authenticity
1. Hologram-printed box with 2 stickers.
2. Gold or white sachets, with or without silver lining.
3. The manufacturing and expiration dates located at the underside of the box should be embossed, not printed/stamped.
4. Product quality seal at the box’s flap.
5. Silica gel inside the box (for the previous batches).

There has been a lot of confusion since there are several kinds of Leisure 18 available in the Philippine market. Some misinformation are spread by some sellers either out of ignorance or malice. I’ve been keeping tabs on several international companies that produce and sell Leisure 18 and here’s what I found out:

There are two models/flavors: the sweet version and the herbs & spices version (I’m selling the sweet version). When it comes to the sachet’s appearance, the only ones I see internationally are the gold or white sachets, with or without SILVER lining. These kinds of Leisure 18 are manufactured and distributed by companies that are GMP- AND ISO-CERTIFIED. You don’t get credentials like those if you’re a loser company that sells fake goods, you know.

What about those with green or purple lining? Some trusted importers and sellers express doubt about the authenticity of these kinds, which is why I don’t sell the Leisure 18 with green or purple lining. However, many manufacturers nowadays offer private labeling and customization so it is possible that these green and purple linings are just customizations requested by the importers to be able to identify if a particular item was imported by them or by other importers.

Leisure 18 Slimming Coffee – a review

Leisure 18 Slimming Coffee is one slimming beverage that piqued my curiosity thus made me buy a box to try it out. Since college, I veered away from slimming teas and the likes because the ones I’ve tried before just made me do frequent trips to the comfort room and triggered my hyperacidity.

Last year, I really gained weight and most of the bulges concentrated on my hips, butt and thigh. I wasn’t able to exercise unlike before when I got to participate on running events. My friend, Hazel of Veruca, who’s also my supplier of Cyleina soaps, only has positive reviews about Leisure 18 that’s why I got interested. Leisure 18 Slimming Coffee won’t give you undesirable side effects like diarrhea, palpitations and dizziness. I bought one box from her for Php 220 which contains 18 sachets, good for 18 days.
