I love Human Heart Nature products! I love HHN mostly because it’s proudly Pinoy and it uses natural ingredients. I’m a fan of their shampoo and conditioner so I gave their facial washes and toner a try. I love all their facial washes, I enjoyed using them so much that I emptied the bottle that fast without making a review, hihi, maybe next time.
For now, here’s a review of Human Heart Nature Balancing Face Toner.
This toner is recommended for oily or combination skin, I have the latter type so I chose this over the Tomato Toner which is for normal or sensitive skin. Its primary ingredients are elemi and sugar beet.
Quick Facts:
- Elemi is flowering tree from the Philippines. Its oil is used for skin care. It helps reduce wrinkles and rejuvenates the skin.
- Sugar Beet is used for moisturization and controlling water balance of the skin.
I love the smell of this toner, so refreshing and natural. After washing my face, I moisten my cotton ball with this Balancing Face Toner and apply it gently on my face. It does not have a stingy sensation unlike other toners. But I feel that the liquid just settles on the surface and not thoroughly absorbed by my skin. I love looking at the cotton ball every after using a toner because I want to see all the deep seated dirt that wasn’t removed by the facial wash. But with this toner, I didn’t have that dirty cotton balls, it’s either the facial wash thoroughly cleaned my face or that the toner isn’t effective in removing deep seated dirt.
Unfortunately, I got pimples during the time I used this as my facial toner so even if I want to finish off this 200 ml bottle, I have to stop.
Hmmm, I wonder if the Nourishing Face Toner with Tomato Extract will work on me?
I have used facial toners just once. Well, nothing bad really happened but I see no effect at all. Will check this one if this will work for me. Thanks!

i also favor natural and eco-friendly products. Human heart nature is indeed a brand you can trust. I’m currently using a different toner but it’s also natural.

What HHN products do you use?

I haven’t tried Human Heart Nature but I bet it’s good since it’s organic.

I’m using this one sis, and the Balancing Facial Wash, too. No adverse reactions naman on my skin since I started using this last year (or was it two years ago, haha).
I wasn’t very happy with the Tomato variant, though. Parang, wala lang. Try mo din the Moringa variant. Yan ang mabenta dito sa branch sa San Pablo, hehe. 😉

Although I love HN products in general, I’m still kind of wary when it comes to their facial products.

It’s a good thing they are natural so if there are any harsh reactions, I guess it will be milder.

Hi there! I totally love your blog layout btw. Anyway, I already tried using HHN products and so far for the toners, I really didn’t like it that much. It tends to be sticky on the face kasi 🙁
