In our previous Singapore trip, we were able to taste Roti Prata at a hawker center for our breakfast. Locals fall in line just to get their prata fix too. Here in Manila, I don’t know where to eat prata should my taste buds crave for it. But I had an ala-eueka moment at the grocery the other day, I was looking for kani at the frozen section when I saw a frozen prata, Spring Home Roti Paratha.
Roti Prata in Singapore

Roti Prata is Singapore’s version of an Indian dish called “paratha”. Roti Prata is a popular breakfast dish among Singaporeans. In a hawker centre in Simei, there are about two or three stores selling Roti Prata and people line up to get their hot prata.
Roti means bread and Prata means flat, hence a flat bread. I remember the yummy smell of butter…
