I got buffaloed at Buffalo’s Wings n’ Things

If I have to list my favorite food, I’m sure buffalo wings will be in that list. It’s a (chicken) joy to eat, I’d like to eat it with my bare hands, no plastic gloves. I like it crunchy with lots of sauce seeping into the nooks and crannies of the wings. Some days I like it hot, some days I just like the non-spicy flavors.

Most restos nowadays have came up with their own version of buffalo wings so I don’t have to go all the way to Makati just to have my wings fix at Wingman. And now, I found another reason all the more not to go there anymore because there’s a new Buffalo’s Wings n’ Things near my office, it’s in Sgt. Esguerra, Quezon City.

McDonalds HK version

Holler from HK! It’s 13 degrees Celsius outside, we weren’t able to anticipate that it will be this cold. Brrrr… It’s our third day and boy, my legs hurt! One highlight of this trip is we’re able to find Tim Ho Wan, the Michelin starred hole-in-the-wall dimsum place in Mongkok. Hopefully, we can also eat at Lin Heung if we don’t get lost. This HK trip is all about food, when I get back to Manila, I need to diet.

Meanwhile, sharing this McDonalds meal I had last night. 6-piece chicken wing, fries and coke for HKD 39.20.

Wingman at The Collective

The buzz about Wingman from bloggers started last year. But since its location in Makati, I can only jot it down on my “to-visit-restos” list. And finally, I had the chance to go to Makati and included in the itinerary is to pay Wingman at The Collective a visit. We didn’t have a hard time ordering because we already know what to order, wings of course! We ordered for a half dozen of Buffalo Classic first. Come to think of it, serving chicken wings does not require exemplary chef work but we’ll find out what Wingman offers…
