I was at SM Mall of Asia yesterday and I passed by the beauty section, and ladies, you know what happened next. *wink* It’s a lippie swatch fest for me whenever I’m in the make-up section and I swatched the new Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipsticks. I said I won’t buy another lipstick until I finished a tube but this changed my mind.
I tried three shades: Craving Coral, Touch of Spice, and Faint for Fuschia. Craving Coral is too orange for me, same with Faint for Fuschia, too light and pink. I fell in love with 660 – Touch of Spice! Touch of Spice is a wearable color and I love that it looks good on me even if I’m not fair-skinned. Maybelline didn’t disappoint when it said that the lipstick is Creamy Matte. It glides on smoothly because of its creamy texture. Unlike other matte lipsticks which is really hard to swipe, this one is highly pigmented and didn’t highlight the lines on my lips. I have dark lines on the outer area of my lips but Touch of Spice managed to cover it in one pass.
Here’s another trivia for you… Touch of Spice is a dupe for MAC Twig according to some make-up addicts.
Want more swatches? My #KumareBlogger, Mommy Pehpot, bought not one, not two, but 4 Creamy Matte lipsticks! Go check what shades she bought.
Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick is only Php 299 a tube, highly pigmented, and easy to apply! That’s enough reason for you to buy a tube or two.
Craving for Coral Looks really good. Going to drag my sister in the Maybelline section next time.

I love the Touch of Spice color and I can always use more lipstick. I don’t think a woman can have too many lipsticks. Maybelline is a great brand and I love how reasonable their prices are.

Yes, I love Maybelline and the Creamy Matte collection is my fave so far.

It’s funny – when I looked at those colours on your hand, I instantly thought “touch of spice” too. It’s a great colour – looks excellent on you and hopefully would suit me too! Great recommendation.

It’s one of their best selling color from this collection.

I would have chosen the same one! The other two colours are pretty, but I wouldn’t be able to pull them off with my colouring. The Touch of Spice is just right – pretty, but wearable. Great choice!

It looks so natural though. I love it and Maybelline is a great brand and product. I think I am going to dibble a little more into makeup and making sure I look great at all times

These colors are gorgeous and vibrant yet somehow very natural looking. You are really pulling it off well. I think that my favorite color is the Touch of Spice for sure!

It’s amazing how great a new lipstick can make you feel! Shopping the cosmetics aisle at the drugstore near work was my favorite lunch hour activity when I lived in the States. In Denmark, things are very expensive, so I only have two lipsticks… one pale color and one bold color.

I prefer matte over shiny or glittery lipsticks. My favorite shade of here is the touch of spice. I’m a mauve kinda girl!
