Aside from being an Internet junkie, I’m also a computer games fanatic. I sometimes control myself on getting hooked with the game I’m playing because I get unproductive whenever I’m in front of the computer. I don’t want to play different games at the same time, right now, I’m still enjoying Restaurant City on Facebook. Jeff thinks that I’m playing childish games since he’s playing Red Alert Generals. I suggested him to try another online game for serious gamers which is World of Warcraft. After some prodding, he checked out the site on how to buy WOW game card.

“Purplized” at the Yahoo Purple Hunt

Project Purple is a campaign from Yahoo Philippines. The campaign began on June 2 and will end on July 25. The first phase is an online hunt for the purple ticket as well as tours in Ayala Malls.

Do you have a purple ticket? If you don’t have one, go to Yahoo Purple Hunt homepage and find the purple tickets hidden on the squares. It’s very easy.

Coke Zero’s newest TVC featuring Ely Buendia, Gaby dela Merced and Billy Crawford

“Dare to start with zero” is the newest tagline from Coke Zero’s newest TV commercial. Featuring 3 successful individuals in their chosen fields: Ely Buendia, Gaby dela Merced and Billy Crawford. Last Sunday, I was intrigued by some snippets of commercial showing Marc Abaya reporting a billboard ad in Guadalupe. It was a marketing ploy that kept me glued on the TV until I knew what it was.

I wasn’t surprised with Coke Zero, I was surprised with the fact that Ely Buendia is one of the three endorsers. Ely Buendia = Pinoy Rock Icon, amen! If anything is possible, is it possible that another Eraserheads concert is on its way? hehe…

Clean as you go

I was at the mall yesterday to do some grocery when I decided to drop by Japan Home. Japan Home is a cheapskate’s haven because everything is sold at Php 88 or Php 66. Items offered ranges from kitchen wares, office supplies, gardening tools, craft supplies and other knick knacks for the house. But what really caught my attention is the slipper with a rag-like sole, aptly called “cleaning slipper”.

Here comes the sun again!

After a rainy spell last week, this weekend’s temperature is back to being hot and sometimes humid. As much as I would like to abuse the air conditioner in our room, I’m afraid of the rising cost of electricity so we only use it at night. To beat the heat during the day, the good ol’ ice cold water, fruit juices, fruit shakes, ice cream and other ice coolers will suffice. Taking a shower at least 2 times a day will also keep you fresh and cool.

A weekend garden party

Our friend M celebrated her birthday and invited us over for a mini-gathering and non-stop videoke party at their house in Dasmarinas, Cavite. Actually, they will be our would-be neighbors once we move out to the same neighborhood, hopefully soon. Their family always love friends coming over and a party is always happening in their house, that weekend is one of those. We started the party from 3 pm in the afternoon till midnight.
