In line with the preparations for the visit of Pope Francis, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has announced limited operations at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on January 15, 2015 (2:00PM – 7:00PM), on January 17, 2015 (7:45AM – 8:45AM and 5:45PM – 6:45PM), and on January 19, 2015 (6:00AM – 10:30AM).
In light of the advisory issued, the following CEB domestic and international flights have been cancelled on these dates:

Cebu Pacific Cancelled International Flights:
Passengers in these cancelled flights may avail any of the following options without additional charges:
- rebook their flights within 30 days from original departure date; or
- request for a full travel fund or refund.

Air Asia Cancelled Domestic Flights:

In line with the Papal Visit, roads leading to the airport will be temporarily closed and will therefore affect airline operations from 15 – 19 January 2015. Selected AirAsia flights will be cancelled. Please see photos for the complete list.
Affected passengers will be able to choose from these options:
1. Move to the next available flights of the same route within 30 days from original departure
2. Credit shell valid for 90 days
3. Refund

It’s a must for Cebu Pacific and Air Asia to have ready advisory for any delays, cancelled and open flights. Hoping that in the future, they have more services to offer.
