Jeggings: not quite jeans, not quite leggings

Ever heard of “jeggings”? Jeans + leggings = jeggings. So what’s special about jeggings? Last year, leggings were a hit, but I wear leggings sparingly because it’s too revealing and shows unsightly curves because of the thin fabric. It’s very comfortable though. But when I discovered jeggings, it’s an instant hit for me. I wish this trend won’t go away. It’s comfortable to wear just like the leggings but has a thicker fabric and not too revealing.

I bought my jeggings at Topshop, Maldita and 168 Mall in Divi.

Searched for jeggings online, I like the Marks & Spencer…

Topshop jeggings

Dorothy Perkins jeggings

Marks & Spencer jeggings

Kate Bosworth on jeggings

I pair my jeggings with long tops. Some can get away with just their usual tees especially skinny girls and just pair it with long scarf of vest. How do you wear your jeggings? Do you dig this style too?

  1. i like it! i have to buy a pair for myself…pronto! 🙂

  2. i wear leggings.. but not to often enough.. since I’m on the heavy side.. I have to wear it with a dress 🙂 and not a top 🙂

    I guess… I’d wear jeggings too .. 🙂

Skinny jeans kasi, demin yung fabric kaya mainit. This one uses fabric similar to a leggings but with a cut of a jeans. You’ll know it when you see one…. Some jeggings have pockets too. Jeggings in 168 is 450 pesos, but that’s because I bought it in a boutique-like store at the 3rd floor.

  4. I like leggings and I was so floored when it came out with the denim material. I do have one which I bought for only $9.00. I bought 2 pairs.

Badet–I answered your questions in my post, after your question-comment. 🙂
