Over the holidays, we went to Sagada, but we stayed in Baguio for a night to rest from the long travel. Finding an available hotel in Baguio during the peak season is very difficult. Even the expensive ones like The Manor, Forrest Lodge, etc. were fully booked. My hotel choice when in Baguio which is City Center Hotel was also unavailable. So I searched for hotels and transient houses until I found Dely’s Inn.
When you search for reviews on Dely’s Inn online, you can’t find much, I was hesitant at first but I really have no choice, right?
Location
Location-wise, it’s not really central since it’s far from Session Road BUT it’s still just a few steps away from Burnham Park and a block away from Legarda Road where restaurants and bars are located. In fact, when you look at the window from the hotel, Giligan’s is waving at you. Good Taste Restaurant, McDonald’s, Cafe by the Ruins, and Shakey’s are some of the restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel. There’s a 7-Eleven if you walk going to Burnhma Park.
Here’s the view seen from our room at the 5th Floor.
The Room
I booked the Family Room with 2 double beds for Php 3,400 per night. As per my inquiry, Php 3,400 includes breakfast, fan room, LCD TV with cable, and free WIFI.
The family room is spacious. This is Room No. 13 by the way, located at the 5th floor. WiFi is strong, password will be given to you upon check-in. Just outside your room, there’s a lounge area with large glass windows so you can also hang out there. There are two small elevators to access the hotel’s higher floors.
The linens, blankets and the towels provided are old. It’s best to bring your own towels.
Even the toilet/shower area is spacious. Rubber slippers are also provided.
The rooms at Dely’s Inn may be a bit old and need renovation but the staff made sure that the rooms are clean.
We were not able to eat our breakfast the next day because we left very early to catch the first bus to Sagada.
Notes
- Hot water and a water dispenser is available at the 6th floor.
- Friendly staff and security personnel.
- You can leave your things at a secured room after you check out and still want to roam around while waiting for your trip schedule.
- If the taxi driver doesn’t know Dely’s Inn, just mention that it’s in front of Heritage Mansion.
- There’s an ATM right around the corner.
- There’s a parking space for those bringing their cars.

For a while there, I thought you had to get hot water (for bath) upstairs, haha. I’m sure to add this to my list of possible inns to stay at in Bagiuo when we finally gather enough courage to take the bus with the kids. 🙂

I was also in Baguio during the holidays being my hometown. There were really a lot of people in Baguio, you were lucky to find an accommodation. You also had a good deal at Dely’s Inn.

I saw Dely’s Inn when we went to Baguio. We also stayed at a very affordable place when we were there.
