Last December, we went on a road trip and beach camping with friends in Burot Beach in Calatagan, Batangas (blog post to follow). The following day, we drove from Calatagan and had late lunch at Bag of Beans. We plan to visit Sky Ranch the next day so we looked for a decent accommodation to crash for the night, I first browsed thru the Airbnb app on my phone, tried messaging some of the hosts but they were booked for the night. So we just drove along Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway and stopped and inquired on some hotels along the way. After 2 or 3 hotels and perhaps due to exhaustion, we parked at Elegant Star Apartelle.
Their standard room is Php 2,500. I asked if they have one with balcony but the guy at the reception said that the only standard room available that night is located at the back. Parking spaces are available in front of the apartelle and there’s a security guard on duty.
The room has queen-sized bed, a/c, cable TV, hot and cold shower, a big cabinet for storage, towels and soap. I think it’s pretty decent for its price. The hotel has free wifi, unfortunately, the wifi signal is very weak inside our room, we were at Room no. 7.
The bathroom is clean and has enough space for you to move around.
We didn’t experience any problems during our short stay at Elegant Star Apartelle, we came here around 7 pm and checked out at 9 am. In fact, we’re considering to stay here again because it’s so affordable and yet it’s location is perfect. It’s along the road so going to other Tagaytay tourist attractions like Sky Ranch, Mahogany Market, etc. There are plenty of dining choices within the vicinity such as Buon Giorno at Cliffhouse, Leslie’s, Starbucks, Army Navy, Max’s, and Dencio’s.
Oh, maybe they can change their blankets to thicker ones especially during colder season. We turned off the a/c in the middle of the night because the blanket can’t keep us warm.

Place looks decent. Sana nga pakapalin nila yung blankets para mas comfy ang tulog ng mga guests. Will try to remember this apartelle for when we want to stay overnight in Tagaytay. 🙂
