Driving up to Tagaytay will always end up in a food trip. Why not, there are plenty of good restaurants with good food and stunning view that makes the dining experience memorable. Tagaytay is not only about bulalo, there are plenty new restos that are something to look forward to every visit. One of which is Cafe Voi La in Crosswinds Tagaytay. Cafe Voi La serves Asian fusion dishes but I think the menu offers mostly Thai dishes, but they also serve Vietnamese coffee.
My Nanay loves Thai dishes so we zeroed in on Chicken Satay and Tom Yum Kung.
Cafe Voi La made a great impression on how they serve their Chicken Satay. It comes with turmeric rice, peanut sauce, and cucumber with vinegar. I like it because they used chicken thighs which makes the chicken pieces juicy. I love the peanut sauce I asked for a refill.
You can tell the staff of the spiciness level of your Tom Yum soup. In our case, we just asked for mildly spicy. This is perfect for Tagaytay weather!
Gwen ordered Penne Carbonara. Aside from pasta dishes, they also serve pizza. The carbonara is just okay. I think they included pizza and pasta so that if you have kids, you can order something for them.
What’s a Thai restaurant without Thai Tea, right? Cafe Voi La’s Thai Tea did not disappoint, sweetness is just right and it’s a refreshing ending to your Thai meal.
I love the whimsical yet homey ambiance of Cafe Voi La. It creates a happy mood both in your tummy as well as your eyes.
Sounds delicious! Great photos by the way! It looks stunning and super yummy!
