Big Better Burgers
Monday, July 6, 2009 0:10Jeff and I were sort of carnivores last week, craving for burgers and steaks. Last Monday, we had our burger fix at Brother’s Burger in Trinoma. But the burger-craving didn’t stop that day and it lasted until Friday. Although we enjoyed Brother’s Burger, who wouldn’t?, we decided to check out the new burger joint, Big Better Burgers, at the 2nd Floor of Shoppes@Victoria Tower located in Timog corner Panay Avenue.

And we are delighted with our new food joint discovery! The name BIG . BETTER . BURGERS did not disappoint. Maybe I can make a new meaning to their acronym, BBB, it’s Better than Brother’s Burger, hehe… And their price is cheaper than Brother’s Burger too, they offer gourmet tasting burgers at an affordable price.
- Big Better Burger
Jeff ordered the Big Better Burger (Php 91.00), the burger patty is juicy, tender and flavorful. The coleslaw is a great complement with the burger. You’ll know that the patty is made with beef and not just fillers.
- Fish Fillet
I, on the other hand, ordered Fish Fillet Sandwich (Php 128.00). I don’t expect something flavorful with my Fish Fillet Sandwich as I’m quite used with the bland taste of McDo’s Fish Fillet. But I was in for a gourmet surprise, the fish is well-seasoned that’s why I can still taste it and not overwhelmed with the coleslaw and the burger bun. I didn’t have to reach for a ketchup because I’m satisfied with the taste.
The burgers in BBB is a must-try for burger lovers out there, they’re indeed one of the better, if not one of the best burger joints out there.
***I apolgize for the poor quality of pictures, I don’t intend to do food trips that day so I didn’t bring my camera. Note to self: always bring a camera.
