Last summer, I was invited to the opening of the newest branch of Jamba Juice. Health buffs can now grab a cup of their favorite smoothie at EDSA Shangri-la Mall.
“We have always been vocal that expansion is a commitment for the brand,” shares Sharon T. Fuentebella, Managing Director of Jamba Juice Philippines. “We want our products to be more convenient for those who find Jamba Juice as a brand complementing their lifestyle, hence, we’re jambafying the places our market wants them most.”
At the opening, I was lucky to get behind those counters and make my own smoothie. It’s one of the coolest experiences because I got to see how my smoothie is made, from adding the fruit juice and the fresh ingredients down to blending it to perfection. Jho of Jamba Juice, EDSA Shangri-la Mall showed me how to make by perfect Strawberries Wild smoothie.
And here’s a video of the whole stint of me as a Jamba Juice smoothie operator =)
I got to chat with Jho during the process and I asked her if they really use fresh fruits. She said all Jamba Juice smoothies use only fresh frozen ingredients imported from different countries. By freezing the fruits, it locks in the nutrients. I also noticed that Jamba Juice doesn’t use fructose syrup in their juices, it’s the fruit’s natural sweetness that you taste.

What’s your favorite Jamba Juice smoothie? Mine’s Strawberries Wild =)
Jamba Juice EDSA Shangri-La Mall is located at the Lower Ground Floor, East Wing, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City. Other branches include Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Robinson’s Magnolia, Robinson’s Place Manila, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, and The Block – SM North EDSA.
I love Jamba Juice. Aside from the smoothies, I also like ordering their steel cut oatmeal. Haha, I hope I get the chance to go behind the counter next time.

What a fun experience sis! I love Jamba Juice, too! Too bad I can’t always have ’em since we don’t have JJ here in San Pablo.
