Be proud being a Filipino and showcase Pinoy Pride through the “tsinelas”. Havaianas Philippines brings another collectibles for the Havaianaticos, the 2009 Limited Edition Filipinas Collection. They will be released on June 12, 2009, in celebration of Philippines’ Independence Day. The collection is specially designed and produced for the Philippines, in very limited quantity. I wasn’t able to go to the Make Your Own Havaianas 2009 event this year, but these pairs will make up for it.
Emblazoned with renditions of Filipino pride, the Limited Edition Havaianas Filipinas Collection features the style Havaianas Filipinas Plain, which showcases a stylized pin of Philippine colors and the style Havaianas Filipinas Print, which features the ever-enduring symbol of Filipino culture, art and lifestyle, the Jeepney, rendered in edgy silver, with either black or metallic silver straps.
The exclusive Havaianas Filipinas Collection will be available starting June 12, 2009 in the following Metro Manila outlets: All Flip-Flops, Aloha Boardsports, Celio, FiveForty Surf Shop, J&S Surfshop, Manila Polo Club, Moana, ROX, Rustan’s, Sepatu, Stoked, The Zone and Kidsports. For provincial outlets, please contact the retail outlet nearest you.
I am not a fan of Havaianas but I love custom-made apparel like “make your own/custom made” jeans and shoes like Vans, Keds, Nike and Timberland. I just created my own Keds from a painting I’ve done. I’m waiting for the shipment.
