Paypal account problem

I had successful withdrawals from Paypal on all of my online transactions. Indeed, Paypal is the easiest way to send and receive money to those who have online shops and virtual jobs. Even paid blogging and pay-per-click sites use Paypal as their mode of payment.

My dilemma, I recently updated all my bank accounts from my maiden name to my married name. Thus, affecting the bank details linked to my Paypal account. Paypal requires that your Paypal account name and bank account name should be the same, which translates to be a big problem for me. I asked help to their customer support and I hope that Name Change in Paypal is not as complicated as I deem to be.

I’m thinking of just opening a new account using my married name and updated bank details but I would have to go through the verification process once again. And I have to use the same credit card I used in my first Paypal account, which might present another conflict. Another option is to keep using my old account with my maiden name, and apply for a Union Bank EON account and just link this to my present account. Hmmm, one of the difficulties of womanhood I guess…

Can someone help me? Does Paypal permits one person to have 2 different accounts? Thanks in advance for the help…

Paypal withdrawal successful

I checked my bank balance online this morning and I was surprised to see that my Paypal funds were already transferred to my BPI account in just 5 days. I initiated the transfer last Monday, June 16, 2008 and got it today, June 20, 2008, fast huh? My last attempt to transfer my Paypal funds to BPI took almost 15 days, so I wasn’t expecting the money to be reflected until next week. I hope future transactions with them will be this quick. The wonders of technology, I can earn online, get paid online and have my money ready at my local bank.

Paypal is by far the most convenient and cheapest way of transferring money. I’ve tried Xoom.com before but their fees are higher than Paypal. With Paypal, they will only charge you with Php 50.00 for withdrawals Php 6,999.99 and below but it’s FREE for withdrawals Php 7,000.00 and up. BPI, on the other hand, charges Php 150.00 for every Paypal transaction. Not bad, what I do is I collect my earnings/funds until it reaches Php 7,000.00 or more to waive the Php 50.00 Paypal transaction fee.
