I chanced upon a Pink Parlour deal at Deal Grocer some months ago that includes Brazilian waxing and lip waxing. Pink Parlour is a popular waxing salon in Singapore and now they have opened up branches here in the Philippines. I went to their SM North Edsa The Block branch.
Every girl will be captured by Pink Parlour’s colors, black and pink matched with zebra-patterned accent.
Before my waxing treatment, I was led to their shower room and the staff handed me rubber slippers, towel and feminine wash. I was surprised that I can actually take a real shower before my treatment, and not just wash down there.
After washing, I was led to one of their rooms.
Pink Parlour uses hot wax for their Brazilian waxing services. The staff said that they were trained by Singaporean Pink Parlour employees. The wax they use is imported from Australia. When I asked my attendant if hot wax is better than cold wax, she said that hot wax is more soothing and that it helps in opening up the pores for easy waxing.
Since they are using hot wax, the attendant will blow the wax for a few seconds before applying it to my skin. When it’s too hot for me to handle, I asked her to cool it down a bit more. I love the courteous staff of this branch, I just forgot her name.
I noticed that using hot wax on my Brazilian or any other waxing services will be longer than using cold wax. Because you have to allow extra time to cool down the wax, wait for it to harden on your skin before pulling.
Pink Parlour is proud of their sanitation practices particularly no double dipping.
I had a pleasant experience at Pink Parlour. It costs more than Brazilian waxing at Lay Bare but the facilities like the shower area and treatment room are bigger than the latter.
Brazilian waxing costs Php 900. They currently have a 5+3 promo, so it’s pretty affordable at around Php 560 with a validity period of 2 years plus you can also share the treatments to your friends. Go ahead and go Brazilian so that you will be ready and confident once you flaunt your swimwear.

Yes, it hurts but as they say, no pain, no gain. The reward of fresh and clean feeling is worth it.

I haven’t tried The Strip here, and yeah, I heard they have different scents of waxes, interesting. There’s a Pink Parlour in SG right?

“When I asked my attendant if hot wax is better than cold wax, she said that hot wax is more soothing and that it helps in opening up the pores for easy waxing.” actually hot wax is better than cold wax because it only sticks to the skin that’s why its less painfull unlike cold wax since it doesnt stick to the skin at all. Once the hot wax hardens it only pulls the roots of the hair leaving you smooth and hair free!
