Polymer Clay Workshop with Angeli

Polymer clay is a sculptable material based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It usually contains no clay minerals, and is only called “clay” because its texture and working properties resemble those of mineral clay. It is sold in craft, hobby, and art stores, and is used by artists, hobbyists, and children.

I was on a look-out for something new these days that’s why when I learned that Angeli has new skeds for her
Polymer Clay Workshop for Beginners, I immediately signed up. I am already a fan of her creations so I really got excited for the workshop. Albeit the typhoon Frank last Sunday, my friend, Jen, and I braved the downpour and flooded streets just to go to this workshop. We’re really looking forward to this because this is also the chance that Jen and I will be reunited after 3 years, hehe… thanks to Angeli! It was a fun and very productive workshop. Angeli shared her time-tested techniques, the what-to-do and the what-nots. She shared her experiences and frustrations when she was just starting, all the brands of clay she tried, all the mistakes she made, so that we’ll learn from it and hopefully not go through what she had before.

What made the stormy afternoon more enjoyable is the delicious Brooklyn Pizza for lunch and Sonja’s Cupcakes for our afternoon snack

At first, I thought I can never make any of those clay creations because I don’t have the “creative hands” and I’ll just end up with a lot of clay junk. But Angeli’s a genius and she made all things easy! Everyone can make BEAUTIFUL and HAPPY clay creations.
