I can’t believe how time flies so fast! The last time I remembered it was only summer, how I complained about the scorching summer heat and now cold months are here. From my experience, when the calendar turned to September, it will be only be a few winks until Christmas. Last year, I made my Christmas list a little too late, but this year, I have to plan and list everything that I need to buy. Aside from gifts for loved ones and goddaughters/godsons, I have to really make an extra special list for our baby! Our baby will be born sometime in December and being first-time parents, I’m sure the baby will be showered with gifts.

Online shopping in the Philippines has come a long way, from Multiply, online shops have conquered Facebook. But as I’ve said before, I don’t want to make my personal account in Facebook an online circus of some sort. But what I’ve been considering for months now is to buy a domain name for my site and set it up as a stand-alone e-commerce/shop site complete with shopping cart features. I think Philippine market is mature enough for this kind of shopping experience and I know a lot of Philippine-based online sites that are already successful with this kind of set-up.
I already have an existing web hosting for my blogs but I’m afraid that the space/bandwidth won’t be enough to accommodate the existing traffic my Multiply store has. One suggestion is for me to have my own server, but I’m too novice for those technical stuff. Having my own dedicated server might be an advantage for me in the future should I acquire more blogs and online shops but I’m lost with all technical jargons. But I found a great deal in Superb.net with their managed hosting, aside from their managed dedicated servers that I can acquire, it also comes with a 5-in-1 deal which includes managed backup, managed firewalls, OS hardening, patches and updates and proactive monitoring. Looks like a promising plan, right? And if all things became successful, I can even avail of their colocation plans to take care of my server.
Just sharing you some of my hopes on becoming a successful entrepreneur, but in the meantime, do check out the latest collection from Pink Fortune, multi-way bags that are definitely bang for the buck!

School will start on September in the US and here in the Philippines, students are having their examinations for the first quarter. In a few weeks from now, parents will receive report cards from their children and see how they performed in school. Parents might be happy with the good grades and there are some that might call their attention. But don’t worry, as early as now, parents and students can do something about low grades. Is it mathematics? Well, this is the most common subject students are having difficulty, even the simplest problems on how to divide can be such a headache.
With the wonders of Internet and technology, students can get help and undergo online math tutoring at Tutorvista.com. Quilted chain bags are so hot since early this year. But not everyone can afford a Chanel or any other designer handbags with similar styles. I saw a lot of class A Chanel replicas but I want an unbranded one but with the same style. And guess where I found the quilted chain bags I was looking for for months, SM Department Store! SM got it all indeed, I was leisurely checking out the newly renovated department store of SM North Edsa when I saw fabulous clustered chains and quilts screaming in front of me.

I know this is not the right time to think about weight loss due to my pregnancy but I can’t help it. With my monstrous appetite at only 4 months, I expect to become bigger in the coming months. But I don’t have to worry on weight loss come next year because aside from breastfeeding which can contribute in helping me back to shape, I’m determined to continue and be serious about running. Besides, I bookmarked a particular site for future reference that discusses all about fast weight loss diet.
This is fairly a new site but I hope new interesting articles and diet tips will be published soon. I agree with what the author is saying about weight loss is about counting calories. It’s counting the calories you take in and also counting the calories burned through exercise. I like the fact that the author is also not into fad diets which are very common nowadays giving a lot of people falso hopes on their dream bodies or body weight. One advantage of the site is it doesn’t prohibit you in including your favorite foods when making a diet plan, just keeping everything in moderation, that’s what balanced diet is all about anyway. And still, the secret for a beautiful and healthy body, is diet and exercise.

Here I am again, creating an online buzz about my online shop that sells fashion accessories. Sales these past few months are kind of slow. Maybe because competition is stiff nowadays with a lot of online shops sprouting not only in Multiply but also in Facebook. I still refuse to migrate selling in Facebook because Facebook for me, is more of a personal account and I reckon this is also the case for others. So I’m happy with my current online shop in Multiply and swore to myself that I will not tag my friends in Facebook about my wares. I’ll just find other ways in increasing my sales without being too pushy and with a code of ethics in mind.
One way to promote my online shop, Pink Fortune, is through classifieds. Just like including our blogs in link directories, listing our online shops in different classifieds and directories will make it more visible to prospective customers and buyers. It’s also free so there’s nothing to lose, just hardwork and patience because creating and posting classifieds can be quite tedious especially when manually entering the details. But I promise, you’ll gain a sale/s from these listings. I once read that in sales, one must not stop marketing his/her products.

I hope it’s not too late for me to join Yugatech and Western Digital contest. A 1 Terabyte Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 3 is up for grabs for the lucky winner this week. Here’s why I badly need extra storage space…

My own PC
As you can see, the desktop is full of icons already, the right side contains my icons while the left side has my husband’s icons. Haha, sooner, I will occupy the entire desktop.

Maynilad has a new billing statement of account, and it’s fast because it’s printed right in front of you after the final reading of your meter. The Maynilad employee carries a special portable printer that can print the Statement of Account in a special thermal paper. It looks like a special meter used by conductors in provincial buses. Here’s the new Statement of Account from Maynilad:
