Android App: Fruit Ninja

Published by under technology

I’m a kid at heart, I get easily addicted to computer games like The Sims. I’m so hooked I don’t want to stand in front of my PC to eat or do chores. When Facebook came, there’s Restaurant City and Farmville. After that, I veered away from all those requests from FB for me to be productive at work.

Until I got myself a Samsung Galaxy Ace last year, there came a point that my phone is no longer used as a phone but for gaming purposes, lol! My first game installed was Angry Birds. After that, I tried other games like puzzles, arcades, war games like Gears of War 3 in Xbox, etc…

Oh Ray-Ban sunglasses

Published by under fashion

Sunglasses nowadays are not only used as an eye protection from the sun but for fashion purposes as well. You can even see people wearing sunglasses inside the mall or even in clubs. I still wear sunglasses only when I’m outside though, I’m all for comfort and function instead of looking fashionable.

Trends in sunglasses come and go, remember those oversized sunnies that cover your entire face popularized by Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, etc? Well, it’s nice to own some trendy pieces but for me, I’d rather invest on a good one. And I’m sticking with the classic, Ray-Ban sunglasses.

I love the classic styles of their wayfarers…

Back from Malaysia holiday

Published by under Malaysia

Hi everyone! Some of you may know that my mommy blog, The Misis Chronicles, is one of the finalists in the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards held at the Marriott Hotel Putrajaya in Malaysia. It was an honor to witness and mingle with other rockstar bloggers around the Asia Pacific. And yes, I’m too stoked that being a finalist entitles me to a free trip and a hotel stay at where else, Marriot hotel. The trip to Malaysia is only for the finalist though, so it means only a single holiday for me, and I have to cut my trip short because it’s Gwen’s first birthday.

Laminate floors

Published by under personal

Having laminate floors is one thing that’s included in our dream house. It’s homey and fits the modern Asian feel we’re gunning for.

Since it’s laminates, it’s also cheap and easy to install. Perfect for home weekend warriors. A sales assistant from home depot recommended alloc original to use as laminate floors. We preferred a light colored shade like the one shown above.

Christmas gifts for him

Published by under personal

Do you also find it difficult to find Christmas gifts to your husband, brother and boy friends? I always have a hard time, it’s always the generic shirts because gadgets are too expensive. But if you’re the generous type, you can also opt to give pricier ones.

For the outdoor loving person in your life, you can’t go wrong with giving something from the North Face. They have everything from tents, shoes, shirts, jackets and other gears.

For the husband, I’m checking out northface jackets from RockyMountainTrail.com.
