Everything Nice!

Banapple, I first heard of this restaurant from friends and colleagues but since the first branch is in Katipunan, I never got to visit this place. Fortunately, Banapple has another branch in Quezon City, located at the 2nd Floor of Il Terrazzo along Tomas Morato. I visited Banapple to prove all the props received by this restaurant.

The restaurant is quite small, there were only a few chairs inside so seating area is very limited. They have additional tables and chairs outside though for smokers. What I love is the homey and cozy ambiance, feels like your visiting a friend’s or your grandma’s kitchen.

Watch Jovit Baldivino sing his own rendition of Faithfully by Journey in the Batangas auditions of Pilipinas Got Talent. It’s only the start of this new show but discoveries of talented Pinoys are overwhelming, indeed, Pilipinas Got Talent, Pinoys got talent! One of them is Jovit Baldivino, a 16-year-old from Batangas. After singing Journey’s Faithfully and after Ai-Ai cried with his rendition, he was then compared to Arnel Pineda. He also reminds of Britain’s Got Talent YouTube sensation Susan Boyle. Great things come in small and unexpected packages.

I joined the DZMM Takbo Para sa Kalikasan Year 11 last Sunday, my third time for this yearly running event. Sponsored by DZMM, the running event is for the benefit of the rehabilitation of the Pasig River. Takbo Para sa Kalikasan is one running event I can see myself joining every year because registration fee is affordable (Php 200 this year) and its accessible location (The Fort is too far where most running events are held).

I want a Cherry Mobile P1! Cherry Mobile is a new player in the mobile phone market, its edge is offering affordable dual-sim phones, no wonder it has became popular in a just short period of time.

If you’re intrigued on how this phone looks like, it’s very small and has different colors. It looks like more of an MP3 player than a mobile phone. The reason why I want it so bad is because it’s only Php 999. Yep, nine-hundred-ninety-nine!

Oh, tonight is the premier night of Miss You Like Crazy starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. The movie trailer looks promising, and I want to see a glimpse of Malaysia. Hmmm, I have two cinema tickets from the office but I hope I can convince Jeff to watch this movie.

Lloydie really transforms into handsome-ness on-screen… And Bea is pretty as always…

Ajisen Ramen is one food discovery when we were in Hong Kong. The ramen and the soup was so delicious that we dreamed of going back to HK just to have another round of Hong Kong food trip. But one chilly morning a day after Christmas, we found Ajisen Ramen at the Midtown wing of Robinson’s Place Manila. We’re not sure at first if it’s the same as the one in HK but after scanning the menu proved that they’re the same.
