Wingman at The Collective

The buzz about Wingman from bloggers started last year. But since its location in Makati, I can only jot it down on my “to-visit-restos” list. And finally, I had the chance to go to Makati and included in the itinerary is to pay Wingman at The Collective a visit. We didn’t have a hard time ordering because we already know what to order, wings of course! We ordered for a half dozen of Buffalo Classic first. Come to think of it, serving chicken wings does not require exemplary chef work but we’ll find out what Wingman offers…

Buffalo Classic Php 180

The basket of chicken wings came with a ranch dressing which I absolutely love and carrot sticks. I’d rather have fries as their accompaniment for this though. Maybe the carrot sticks are to compensate for the “fried” chicken wings but it’s not bad to give in fried guilty pleasures once in a while. Jeff and I simply can’t get over the taste of Buffalo Classic, sweet spicy combination. Despite the wings being smothered by the sauce, the wings maintained its crunch.

The half dozen Buffalo Classic flew from the basket pretty fast so we had another round, this time, it’s the Garlic Parmesan. Bits of fresh minced garlic spread on the chicken wings, I find it a bit dry and would prefer the Buffalo Classic over this.

Garlic Parmesan Php 180

The wings are best paired with a bottle of beer, and Wingman sells imported beers such as Leffe (Belgian beer) for Php 150.

Wingman, we will be back!

  1. I love buffalo wings! My whole family does, actually. I’m from QC so the most accessible to me are Flaming Wings and Buffalo Wings and Things which are both good. 😀 Have you tried those? I agree, wings and beer is love! 🙂 I like my wings hot and spicy.

    Hi Diane,

Haven’t tried them both, looks like I’ll be eating more wings… Which one is better? Flaming wings or Buffalo Wings & Things?

  3. Hi Badet!

Taste wise, I’d say Buffalo Wings and Things but Flaming Wings is super bang for the buck! 120 pesos for a rice meal with 2 pieces of wings and iced tea.

After I read your post I craved chicken wings. So yeah, we ate at Flaming Wings just now. lol
