Dimsum Break serves delicious and affordable dimsum in a dash

After the bloggers tour of Hello Kitty Village at SM North Edsa, I was famished but good thing Ross of WheninManila.com invited us again for another event, this time for the grand opening of Dimsum Break. Dimsum Break is popular in Cebu, that’s why they are bringing the dimsum goodness here in Manila. As the name suggests, Dimsum Break serves dimsum and Chinese food, but what makes them famous is their Steamed Fried Rice.

Dimsum Break’s Original Steamed Fried Rice

Would you believe that this generous serving of Original Steamed Fried Rice is only Php 68? Oh yes! Dimsum Break prides itself for having affordable and wide selection of dimsum. A complete package meal would cost a customer only Php 133—an order of dim sum at Php 65 plus the rice pot at Php 68.

Here are the other dimsums that we enjoyed:

Steamed Hakao

Hakao is my staple order whenever we have dimsum, and I like Dimsum Break’s hakao because the shrimp is soft and fresh.

Siomai wrapped in bacon!

You can never go wrong with bacon! This Bacon Shaomai is a new twist to traditional siomai, more tasty because of the addition of bacon.

Stuffed Taro

Bloggers who got to order this said that this is very filling, nakakabusog!

L-R: Fried Shrimp Balls, Stuffed Taro, and Crab Pincers

Sweet & Sour Pork and Sweet & Sour Fish

After stuffing yourselves with dimsum, make room for desserts because Dimsum Break has desserts too, for only Php 55! We had Coconut Cream and Mango Custard, love them both because they are not too sweet.

Check out the resto’s funky modern Chinese vibe with their interiors. I love the lighting idea!

How to order at Dimsum Break? Just go to the counter, grab a tray, pick your dimsum and pay at the cashier. That’s your dimsum in a dash.
