I made the perfect smoothie at Jamba Juice!

Last summer, I was invited to the opening of the newest branch of Jamba Juice. Health buffs can now grab a cup of their favorite smoothie at EDSA Shangri-la Mall.

“We have always been vocal that expansion is a commitment for the brand,” shares Sharon T. Fuentebella, Managing Director of Jamba Juice Philippines. “We want our products to be more convenient for those who find Jamba Juice as a brand complementing their lifestyle, hence, we’re jambafying the places our market wants them most.”

At the opening, I was lucky to get behind those counters and make my own smoothie. It’s one of the coolest experiences because I got to see how my smoothie is made, from adding the fruit juice and the fresh ingredients down to blending it to perfection. Jho of Jamba Juice, EDSA Shangri-la Mall showed me how to make by perfect Strawberries Wild smoothie.

10 km done! Run United 2 2013

This is my first 10 km race, and yes, I have no choice but to do a 10 km because that’s the shortest distance for Run United 2. The other distances are 21 km and 32 km (Afroman Distance). I figured I can do 4 to 5 rounds around the UP oval which is about 2.2 km, so finishing this 10 km is possible (lakasan ng loob). Jeff ran the 32 km, their gun start is at 3 am. We barely slept! We have to leave the house at 1 am. We were at the Mall of Asia at 2 am because we were worried on the long queue at the parking area. Thankfully, the parking area opened minutes after we arrived.

At 3 am, it’s race time for the 32 km runners.

Run United 2 on June 2, 2013

Run United 2 will happen on June 2, 2013. And if you still don’t know why this is the biggest running event every year, read my Run United 1 post.

For Run United 2, there will be Ceelin 500m dash, 10k, 21k and 32k race categories. All categories will have a start and finish line at the SM Mall of Asia.

Join the Foursquare Day event on April 16, 2013

Do you have Foursquare installed in your mobile phones? I do, it’s so fun to “check-in” at places and gain mayorship for that place. I was able to get a free dessert in a restaurant just because I checked-in, haha, being a Foursquare user has its perks too.

On April 16, 2013, join me and other Foursquare users as we celebrate Foursquare Day #4SqDay at the Mega Atrium, SM Megamall, 5 pm.

Style and comfort with Caribbean Footwear

Flip flops are a must-have in everyone’s closet especially here in the Philippines. Gone are the days when flip flops were just worn at home because of it’s plain and simple designs. Now, it is part of a fashion statement, not only that, a lot of people wear them because of the comfort it offers no other footwear can.

Last April 3, 2013, Caribbean Footwear was introduced to us group of bloggers. This is the first time I heard of this brand but turns out they have been around since 1995. They are the former manufacture for big footwear companies but in 2010, they established the Caribbean brand. Their latest collection for summer is the Urban Safari Collection which features bold prints, vibrant colors, and chic neutrals.
