And the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009 are…

This post is to congratulate the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009. They have emerged! 4 of my bets got into the list based on the entry I submitted. Reading Ms. Janette Toral’s observations for this year’s project, I cannot agree more! Blogging is for everybody (rich or poor, with or without your own PC, with or without HTML/CSS knowledge, young or not-so-young), as long as you can write, then blog. And the most important value that everyone can benefit from blogging is camaraderie. This is evident with the Jedi Bloggers namely Jan, Roy, Doc Z and others, with continued support for each other, they were able to influence and inspire not only their own circle but other people in the blogosphere as well. No labels, no namecallings, no judgments… let’s make the blogosphere a healthy and inspiring community.

Cyleina Organic Soaps – a review

Cyleina Organic Soaps has been popular in many online forums like Girltalk and Teentalk for almost 2 years now. The soaps are lovingly handmade and uses organic ingredients and pure essential oils to make the skin soft and moisturized. Perhaps, the reasons why Cyleina Organic Soaps are popular is because it’s affordable and effective. I tried other organic soap brands that are priced at Php 100 or more, but after a few uses, I can’t finish the whole bar because it already melted on my soapdish. With Cyleina, I can still use the soap and gives enough lather even until it’s just the size of a pea. There are so many varieties to choose from so it’s unlikely for you not to find one that suits your skin best. For only Php 60 per bar, you can try them all until you find the best soaps for you.

Let me share my fave variants of Cyleina Organic Soaps:

Get rid of stray cats and dogs

If you’re a pet owner, then you’ll definitely know how it feels that taking care of pets is very much like taking care of a real person. You bathe them everyday, feed them, and let them out for a walk. My mother takes care of our dog, Bobsy, he’s been part of the family for more than 10 years, yes, he’s already old. My mother loves Bobsy so much that she prepares Bobsy’s food first than our own food, his favorite, liver cooked adobo style. Lately, we noticed that Bobsy is often agitated and barks more than usual. Until one night, I saw a black cat feeding at Bobsy’s bowl of leftover from his dinner. That’s when we found out that the reason why our dog is barking angrily is because of stray cats trespassing our gates. The stray cats would jump at the gate and go to our dog’s feeding area to see what’s left for dinner.

Chicken Mami House

A cold, rainy and windy day deserves a hearty hot bowl of soup. We just had Spicy Beef Noodles from Chowking the other day and this time in Trinoma, we were surprised to see a new resto at the Cinema levels, the Chicken Mami House. It’s between Mexicali and Jamaican Patties so moviegoers won’t miss it. The simple name says it all, MAMI! We ordered their specialty called Binondo Mami which has siomai and lechon macau on it. Jeff also ordered Bola-Bola siopao and 5 pcs. and siomai.
