Choosing the right BB cream

With so many BB creams (Blemish Balm creams) out there, it’s difficult to choose the right BB cream that’s perfect for your skin and needs. I ordered different BB cream samples too but like many other BB cream fanatics, I have yet to try other brands to see what’s best for my skin. In Korea, consumers are lucky because Korean stores are generous on giving samples so they don’t have to spend in trying out products. Here in the Philippines, those samples are sell for Php 50-Php 200 pesos but it’s better than buying the whole tube which costs a little over a thousand. My fave seller of BB creams from Multiply, Trinketi, made a chart that can help you choose the BB cream that’s right for your skin. It’s very helpful that I have to ask permission from her to repost this in my blog. Please click the photos for larger view.

Help for typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) victims

The onslaught of typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) left so many families homeless, without clean clothes, no food and clean water, and worse, lost their loved ones. I was devastated after reading the news and viewing photos online, I was disconnected from the outside world since I, too, was stranded at the airport. But we were more fortunate than the others who suffered and lost greatly from the flood. Casualties of the typhoon Ondoy is concentrated in Marikina, Pasig, Makati, San Juan, Manila and Quezon City.

Stranded at NAIA Terminal 3 for 15hours due to typhoon Ondoy

September 26, 2009, Saturday, we went to NAIA Terminal 3 at 9 am to fetch my mother who’s arriving from Kalibo, Aklan. On our way to the airport around 8 am, it was already raining hard and some roads going to the airport were starting to get flooded but still passable. At 10:27 am, Cebu Pacific flight 5J 332 arrived and minutes later, we’re all ready to go home to Caloocan. From NAIA Terminal 3, we will go to Airport Road, Domestic Road, MIA Road and Macapagal Avenue to get to Caloocan. It’s 11 am when we left the airport and the situation inside is still peaceful.

Gimme a pug!

Ever since we were little, dogs have been a part of our family. Our dogs became our playmate especially when they are still puppies, playful and energetic. At that time, we always have 2 pet dogs, for me and my brother, and we would each take care of them. At present, we really don’t have time to take care of any kind of pets, even small pets. But when time comes that we’ll move to a bigger space and more time to take care of pets, I want to be an owner of a pug!

I will never miss a sale again

Aside from being a blogger, I’m also an online seller at Multiply, in fact, I’m enjoying this sideline for 2 years now. I get to do things I love which is to shop and do crafts like beading. Earning from it is just an added bonus as well as gaining friends along the way. Maintaining an online shop is quite a task, I have to check everyday for inquiries, post blogs and ads about new products, update my clients for the status of their orders, checking if they have received the items in good condition, etc… Aside from the online inquiries, I also get inquiries and orders thru text messages even in the wee hours of the morning. That’s the beauty of online shopping, you can shop 24/7 at the convenience of your own home and with only just a few clicks.

So how can the buyers inform me with their orders? Well, it’s with the use of Online Order Forms that makes things easier. There are free HTML generators out there such as Wufoo.com or Freedback.com which I currently use that automatically sends an order form to my email address whenever a buyer submits one. The Order Forms I receive looks like the photo below:

This time, it’s Farmville

After receiving dozens of request to join other Facebook games, I’ve been loyal to Restaurant City for months. I got intrigued with Farm Town for a moment but I don’t find the graphics appealing. Since Farm Town, various farm-themed games sprouted, one of them is Farmville. I like Farmville’s interface more than Farm Town’s so I got comfortable playing with it. I think the Farm Ville game is best suited for younger users like kids and teens, this game can get pretty boring. I just started playing this as past time and whenever Restaurant City is down for maintenance. Just in case you’re interested what my hacienda in Farm Ville looks like….

See, some of it are still unplowed. I’ll catch up with this game these days. For now, I’m still hooked with RC, which reminds me I need to change my Restaurant City layout. See you in Facebook!
