Walk on water with WOW Balls

Published by at 1:26 am under travel

Did you know that it’s possible to walk on water? Well, it’s possible in the newest attraction at the Bay Area in Mall of Asia, WOW Balls. WOW Balls has a large pool with approximately 10 inflatable water walking balls, they charge 50 pesos for 15 minutes of play inside the Walk-on-water balls. At first, I thought that 15 minutes is too short for my nephew to play inside the water ball, but I realized prolonged stay inside the balls is dangerous especially for kids. My nephew perspired a lot after 15 minutes, and there’s a note that this attraction is not for children with asthma and heart diseases.

Just keep an eye and observe the behavior of your kids when inside the balls. My nephew enjoyed his 15-minute experience with WOW Balls…

In some places, they call this Bubble Walk. This kind of reminds me of Zorb Balls featured in MTV wayback, only now it’s in the water. If you’re still curious on the whole inflatable water ball experience, check out the video below:

I’ve never heard of this here in the US. But I don’t think it would be feasible here since if that is dangerous, and if that is causing that much perspiration for kids….then moms would never like them.

WOW Balls looks fun. I would like to have my son try it but I am pretty scared to let him because he might want to extend to an additional 15 minutes. Hahaha! I would also would like to give it a try if there’s any WOW Balls for adults. Thanks for sharing :)

Let your son try it, maybe after 15 minutes, he will be tired to ask another round. Besides, the lines are always long =)

My daughter tried this on her birthday last March, and she enjoyed it. But yes, you’re right, it looks kinda dangerous for kids with asthma/heart problems, because it was suffocating, and I was watching her the whole time she was inside that ball.
