Battery life maxes out t 15 for listening, 10 for speaking and listening, for business.

VXi BlueParrott S450-XT Stereo Bluetooth Headset

The VXi headset is heavier than the Plantronics Voyager but still provide all day long wearability. The sound seems shifted to the bass end of the spectrum, but remains more than good enough for business applications. They don’t have active noise-cancellation, but muffle most distracting noises well.  LIke other bluetooth headphones, they provide NFC tap-to-pair, which makes getting the ‘phones to work with the sending station a snap. The snazzily named BlueParrot uses aptX audio compression, a newer technology from QualComm. . Be aware that the earcups on this model are a tad bit smaller than on other brands. As many, if not most call centers employee a majority of women, these headphones are made to cater to that application. Still, anyone can wear these comfortably.

These noise-cancelling bluetooth headphones feature a new technology Plantronics calls “WindSmart,” with 4 mics set into the booth. WindSmart does a great job at nulling out not only the loud, disruptive peak noises; it also shushes out the low rumble of conversations typical in open floor plan offices. Noise cancelling on these headphones is so good windy conditions outside are no problem whatsoever. The speaker boom can be moved back and forth from ear to ear, which is a thoughtful feature. The headpiece can be used behind the ear or over the ear. The headset is sold alone or in a package. In the package you get the headphones, as well as the charging base and the slimline bluetooth adaptor.
