Sizzling Pepper Steak

We’re regular diners of Sizzling Pepper Steak but ironically, I seem to forget to blog about it. You see, I’m not a fan of sizzling plates, not until Pepper Lunch arrived, and Sizzling Pepper Steak.

One thing I like about Sizzling Pepper Steak is their modern asian interiors, unlike PL’s fastfood ambiance. Some SPS branches in malls already have comfort rooms so you don’t have to walk around the mall and then go back to eat.

Sizzling Pepper Steak at The Atrium, Megamall

Stop & Go

They have a cool ordering system, you’ll be given an order sheet and you’ll mark your orders, once ready, just flip the Stop/Go sign and their staff will approach you. You can also flip these when you need to call the attention of the staff.

Pork Pepper Rice, Php 185

Just like PL, you have to cook the meat and mix it with rice before you can enjoy your sizzling meal. Another edge of Sizzling Pepper Steak over Pepper Lunch is that you can choose the sauce that comes with your dish. They have plenty of sauces to choose from but Jeff and I like their Diablo Sauce, a tomato-based sauce with a kick of spice.

Oyako Pepper Rice, Php 185

I’m not happy with my Oyako Pepper Rice, made of chicken cubes with egg. It’s not served sizzling and there’s too much going on in the plate. So whenever we eat here, we always order Pork Pepper Rice and their Beef Pepper Rice.

Aside from the ambiance, the food and the sauces, Sizzling Pepper Steak’s customer service is superb, we always have a happy dining experience here. Staffs are always smiling and always attentive to our needs.

Sizzling Pepper Steak branches that we already visited are Megamall, SM North Edsa, Trinoma and Festival Supermall Alabang.

  1. I like the branch in Katipunan too. It’s really quiet there since only a few people eat but the food is really good 😀

  5. This happened on Sept. 17, 2011, Saturday. After walking around the beautiful Resorts World Mall (it was our first time) we decided to have our dinner. Then we looked around until we saw The Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak Restaurant which appeared to be alright to us and to our kids. So we, the 5 of us, entered to try it. We are supposed to enjoy our dinner but it was ruined due to very bad service of the restaurant. The other tables which came later that us were served first… may be they forgot our order. After 2 follow ups one dish came, it was for my daughter, with a wrong sauce, our daughter preferred mushroom gravy, which usually kids like. After another wait, another food came, for my another daughter, it was a pasta so it was alright. After another wait, the food for my son came, no mushroom gravy again so we have to ask the waiter for it. After another wait, my food came, again with no gravy, and the rice I ordered was not served, to my dismay, I just cancelled the rice. I just took out my food because I already lost my appetite. The lady waitress was ignoring us all the while because I think she knew that we were pissed off!

It was a very bad experience for us. I hope it wont happen again to other customers…

Thanks for taking the time and please forward this concern to them and to the Main office of the restaurant.

    Best regards,
    Tony Floro

    Hi Tony,

I’m saddened with your experience and I hope that this branch’s service will improve. I’ll try to forward this to Sizzling Pepper Steak management.
