LSM Square Boracay review

On our Boracay trip this November, we stayed at LSM Square. It’s not exactly a beachfront accommodation but it’s located in Station 1. It’s along the road, in front of Crown Regency Prince. I still like it nonetheless because the walk going to the white beach through the alley is just a mere 5 minutes. The walk to the alley will take you beside Nandana Boracay.

It’s very affordable considering the hotel-like interior of the rooms. Take a look at the family room I booked for just Php 2000 per night, it has 2 double beds and 1 single bed. This is Room No. 9 located at the second floor.

This room for only Php 2000 per night!

Amenities include free WiFi, LCD TV, hot/cold shower, personal ref and electric water heater for your coffee. There’s no breakfast but it’s fine with me since we always go to Real Coffee for breakfast.

The curtains covered the glass door leading to the terrace. You can see the Crown Regency Prince in front and the 24/7 convenience store which is an added plus why I chose LSM Square. We can easily shop for snacks, drinks and other necessities by just crossing the street. A branch of Jonah’s is also in front of LSM Square, I think we ate at Jonah’s across the street about  3 or 4 times during our stay because we’re too lazy to look for other restaurants.

Shower area is spotless and clean.

Interiors, beds and other amenities in LSM Square are almost new and well maintained. Staff are ready to assist you. I requested them to clean our room while we went for a swim, when we came back, my request was granted and even our towels were changed.

The cons. I can be very meticulous before booking and paying my reservation fee. I want to talk first and make sure of my accommodation that’s why I got hesitant to push thru with my booking because the one in charge doesn’t answer calls on his mobile phone, only text. And sometimes, their reply may take a while. I texted my inquiry for room availability and rates on a Saturday and I got a response on Monday. When I emailed my scanned deposit slip, I was waiting for a confirmation or acknowledgment email but I got none until I posted on their FB page.

Another thing is the noise from the tricycle and bystanders outside LSM Square. The area is still bustling even at night so you can request for a room location (if there’s any) with less noise.

Overall, LSM Square in Boracay is an affordable accommodation that gives value for money for budget travellers. I will still consider staying here on my next Boracay getaway.

  1. For as long as you find your Boracay accommodation worth the price, it doesn’t matter if it’s not on the front beach. But yeah, you’re right about the tricycle noise. The location you chose is right on the Main Road.

  2. For 2000 pesos only and its location in Station 1, I think that LSM Square is a good deal. Thanks for sharing. I will also recommend it to my family and friends. 🙂

There are a lot of great breakfast places in Boracay, especially Real Coffee which is walking distance lang.

  6. We stayed at same room (Room 9) last year of November..
The staff was very nice. We only payed 1700 for 5 persons because I told them that my friend recommended the hotel and they also have reservation on that date with the same price.
The only problem we encountered is the reply from the staff.
But I will still recommend the hotel to all my friends.
