In and Around Camiguin: Pabua’s Cottages

Published by at 11:01 pm under Camiguin

Last month, we extended our summer vacation and went to Camiguin! We bought the tickets to Cagayan de Oro from the Cebu Pacific sale last March, it’s around Php 1,100 RT per pax, MLA-CDO.

I was in charge for our accommodation. Always on the practical side, I looked for accommodations in Camiguin and found Pabua’s Cottages rates the most reasonable, and also has positive reviews in the net.

Pabua’s Cottages is just in front of Paras Beach Resort.

We booked for a double room for our family (myself, Jeff and Gwen) and another room good for 3 persons for my officemates.

Here’s what our double room looks like:

As you can see, the double bed is neat complete with pillows and blankets. TV is small, has one outlet near the TV, aircon is working fine.

The one thing I don’t like is their toilet. It’s a bit old and even if it’s clean, it still looks dirty (haha, I hope you get what I mean). Maybe it’s time to change their bathroom tiles.

Our double room cost Php 700 per night, and we occupied it for three nights. WiFi signal is quite weak from our room, though.

Booking is hassle-free, I just called them for reservations and asked me to deposit a small amount through LBC.

Yup, totally agree with the toilet part. But I guess for that rate, that’s pretty reasonable. Haha! As long as you will stay most of the time outdoors and not indoors here. =)
