Dinner at HEAT, Edsa Shangri-La

While most of you are now on a diet after the holidays, my friends in the office is still on a celebration. Our Team Chi Phi Pi won several awards from our company’s Year End Party and it’s only now that we got to celebrate and enjoy the rewards.

After all our hard work, it’s only fitting that we celebrate somewhere special, we voted for HEAT.

Trivia first: HEAT stands for Healthy Eating, Amazing Tastes.

Amazing tastes alright, because of the variety of their buffet spread. Check it out.

Of course, buffet is not complete without DESSERTS!

cakes, fondue, fruits and more!

They even have taho, complete with arnibal and sago. Other desserts include, Teppanyaki ice cream, crepes, halo-halo, cookies, bread pudding, creme brulee, etc.

Taho ala HEAT

My plates… small portions of everything.

What I had for dinner =)

I have yet to find a buffet that has an expertise on all kinds of cuisine. At HEAT, some flavors are lacking on some cuisine. But my favorites are the dimsum, laksa noodles, the cold cuts and the breads. They also have a nice selection of Indian food, I’m not a fan though.

HEAT is always full especially on weekends so better call for reservations first.
