Chicken Mami House
A cold, rainy and windy day deserves a hearty hot bowl of soup. We just had Spicy Beef Noodles from Chowking the other day and this time in Trinoma, we were surprised to see a new resto at the Cinema levels, the Chicken Mami House. It’s between Mexicali and Jamaican Patties so moviegoers won’t miss it. The simple name says it all, MAMI! We ordered their specialty called Binondo Mami which has siomai and lechon macau on it. Jeff also ordered Bola-Bola siopao and 5 pcs. and siomai.

What I like about their mami is the noodles. It’s soft and you’ll know it’s fresh. The broth needs more salt for me, but I guess it will be fine for others, I like salty foods, hehe… This large bowl is good for 2 people.
Siomai, Php 20 per piece
The siomai is soft and huge. We are avid dimsum eaters and this siomai passed our tastebuds, just like our fave siomai place at Gilmore. The sesame oil’s smell on top of the siomai is overpowering and it can be served without it.
Chicken Mami House, Trinoma
Chicken Mami House is small place that can only serve 12 people at most. I think they are affiliated with North Park because uniforms of their staff is that of North Park’s and some flyers on the table indicates North Park. Overall, this place is good especially if you’re looking for some quick eats after watching movies.
