Last March 17, 2013, thousands of runners converged at the SM Mall of Asia grounds for the biggest running event of the year, the Unilab Active Health and RunRio’s Run United 2013 series. Jeff and I started preparing for this race since January with weekly runs at the UP Diliman grounds. Jeff is the one with the most preparation because he ran his first 21 km, while I only registered for 5 km.

Last January 9, 2013, the 1st Frabelle Foodie Chef was named after Frabelle Foods launched the competition on their Facebook page. Food lovers, enthusiasts and consumers have to come up with their own recipes using any Frabelle Foods products like Yummy! Hotdogs and Cheesedogs, Pork Ham Tocino, Longganiza Hamonado, Hickory Smoked Bacon, and Honey Ham. With all the numerous entries, the finalists were narrowed down to five.

Being a mommy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is truly a demanding yet fulfilling and rewarding role. There are difficult days for sure but the joys of motherhood surmount it all. Aside from having a mommy role, you have to fill in the wifely duties too. Oh, and a career woman too if you’re like me.
