Car seat check

This is a sponsored post but all opinions are mine.

Last September, the House committee on transportation approved a bill requiring private vehicles to install car seats for children. We have an existing law which is the Philippine Seat Belt Law (RA 8750) which requires the use of seat belts in front and back seats of private vehicles, but it does not require the use of car seats for young children on board.  The proposed Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Act of 2017 requires owners of private vehicles to secure children in a child restraint system or car seat while in transit on any road, street, or highway.

This is good because they are looking out for the the added safety of our kids. Buying a car seat maybe an additional expenses but what is a few thousands if it can save the life of our children. When buying one, you should also consider the quality and durability. Cars.com has a car seat check section which I find very helpful. In the site, certified child passenger safety technicians conduct hands-on tests of a car’s Latch system and check the vehicle’s ability to accommodate different types of car seats. I love that they have photos of car seats when used in different brands of cars. Go visit the site, and see if they’ve done tests on your vehicle.
