Our friend M celebrated her birthday and invited us over for a mini-gathering and non-stop videoke party at their house in Dasmarinas, Cavite. Actually, they will be our would-be neighbors once we move out to the same neighborhood, hopefully soon. Their family always love friends coming over and a party is always happening in their house, that weekend is one of those. We started the party from 3 pm in the afternoon till midnight.

We had a blast hanging out in the garden, we stayed their for hours. We get to go inside their house only when we need to use the restroom. Why not, they have comfy outdoor furnitures for their guests. The couple must have spent plenty of time pimping up their garden by investing on garden tools and garden equipments. If they have a larger space, a swimming pool would be perfect too so that guests won’t have to go to the clubhouse, a hammock is a great addition for that afternoon nap or whenever they have some tea parties.
Aside from the great ambiance and music from the videoke, we feasted on foods that are all delicious. My friend M is a great cook by the way. We started with her afternoon snack of “turon” (banana wrapped in lumpia wrapper) as appetizer followed by the main dishes and the “pulutan”. I was craving for grilled food like barbecue at that time but we were served sisig and tokwa’t baboy. Maybe because they haven’t set-up the grill and barbecue tools that’s why they weren’t able to cook. Either way, we enjoyed the delicious food and great company, she shared that she grows some herbs in her garden and that’s what she uses when cooking. If that’s her secret, she must take care of those fresh herbs by buying some mammal deterrents for her garden.
Wow i love parties of this kind. What about the food? ahihihi
